Brad Thomas wins at New Hampshire

(July 2, 2009)   The 411 machine driven by Brad Thomas makes his way to Sorrento Italian Restaurant's Winner's Circle with a win at New Hampshire in the PowersHonda.com Performance First Cup Series.  Thomas inherited the lead with 11 laps to go as contact occurred between the 411 and the leader Jeff Purvis.  Thomas held on for his 2nd win in the PHCS this season.  The Harley-Davidson sponsored number 86 of Jeff Purvis finished 2nd followed by Tiny Evans, Phillip Jeffries and Brian Powers

Jeff Purvis earned the Bulle Buildings Lap Leader Award with 59 of 90 laps atop the leader board.  Dewayne Poynter earned the Fox Hollow Pole Award with a speedy lap time of 30.857.  Brian Powers was the SKCPR Rookie of the Race with his top 5 effort.  3 drivers tied for the SKFSA Hard Charger Award by gaining 3 spots from their starting positions.  Mike Shipley was  the Glasgow Primary Care Headache Award recipient dropping 8 spots from his 2nd place qualifying position. 

Michael Richey will take a 74 point lead over Dewayne Poynter as the series moves to Daytona next week.
