Jeff Purvis Grabs the Win in New Hampshire
(June 29, 2009) The 31E Band machine
piloted by number 86 Jeff Purvis finds himself in
Sorrento Italian
Restaurant's Winner's Circle with a win at
New Hampshire in the 31E
Band Grand National Series.
Purvis was the leader with 11 laps to go as contact
occurred between the 86 and the 22 of Marcus Wright
bringing out the caution flag. The 32 of Jamie
Anderson assumed the lead after pit stops were
complete. Anderson held off Purvis until turn
4 of the last lap as the 86 squeaks by for the win.
The TRI-COLOR Carpet Care entry of Jamie Anderson
finished 2nd followed by Phillip Jeffries, Anthony
Ford and Lloyd Chapin.
Jeff Purvis earned the
Bulle Buildings Lap Leader Award with 30
of 60 laps atop the leader board. Keith
Coffman grabs his first-ever
Fox Hollow Pole Award
with an impressive lap time of 30.750.
Jamie Anderson earned the
SKFSA Hard Charger Award
by gaining 5 spots from his starting position.
Keith Coffman was the
Glasgow Primary Care Headache Award dropping
7 spots from his pole-setting start.
Anthony Ford was the SKCPR
Rookie of the Race with his top 7 effort.
Jeff Purvis will take a 28 point lead over Phillip
Jeffries as the series moves to Daytona
International Speedway next week.
