Phillip Jeffries Motors to Victory at Michigan

sponsored 10 machine piloted by Phillip Jeffries makes his way to
Sorrento Italian
Restaurant's Winner's Circle with a win at
Michigan in the TRI-COLOR
Carpet Care Series. Jeffries ran a
mistake-free race leading 25 of the event's 50
circuits to grab the Bulle Buildings Lap Leader
award. Finishing second was the Fat-Boys
Cabinet Shop entry of car number 4-1-1 driven by
Brad Thomas. Anthony Ford, Tiny Evans and Jeff
Purvis all brought home top 5 efforts for the night
Phillip Jeffries was also the
Fox Hollow Pole Award
winner
with an impressive lap time of 40.998.
Brad Thomas was the recipient of the
SKFSA Hard Charger Award
by gaining 8 spots from his 10th place qualifying
effort.
Brian Powers received the
Glasgow Primary Care Headache Award dropping
8 spots from
his front row start.
Points leader Michael Richey finished 9th after a
mechanical failure found him several laps off the
pace. Tiny Evans' top 3 effort moves him to
second place only 42 points behind Richey as the
series heads for Milwaukee next week.
